When it comes to the new 2020 Hyundai Accent, the sedan offers a new Smartstream G1.6 Dual Port Injection (DPI) engine, as well as a Smartstream Intelligent Variable Transmission. With this new system, the 2020 Accent is able to increase its fuel economy rating to 33 city/41 highway/36 combined mpg, up from the 28 city/38 highway/32 combined mpg rating seen in last year’s Accent model with its 1.6-liter Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) engine and 6-speed automatic transmission.
