When it comes to the 2019 model, the team at Hyundai focused a lot of attention on safety features and convenient technologies. In fact, drivers of the 2019 Hyundai Ioniq will be able to upgrade their model with the available Driver Attention Alert and High Beam Assist safety features. The 2019 Ioniq will also offer enhanced voice-recognition features with the natural-language, server-based voice-recognition and POI-search database that is provided by HERE. Hyundai also made charging the new Ionic Plug-in and Electric models easier thanks to standard remote charge management via Blue Link.

The 2019 Hyundai Ioniq Plug-in Hybrid model combines an electric motor with an impressive engine without some of the compromises that come with hybrid powertrains. In fact, the engine equipped with a Kappa 1.6-liter direct-injected Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine that will offer an estimated 104 horsepower and 109 lb-ft of torque. The electric motor also offers 44.5 kW/60 horsepower.
