We know you’ve already heard about how great the 2019 Hyundai Elantra is, but we’re going to keep talking about it even more! This sedan, which was refreshed for 2019, gives you the standard technology and features that you’re looking for. Not only do you get a reliable vehicle with Hyundai backing it, but you also get to experience the design enhancements that have gone into making it comfortable and easy to drive. When it comes to where the 2019 Elantra truly shines, it is with the six trim level options, including SE, SEL, Value Edition, Limited, Eco, and Sport. Continue reading down below to learn more about what these trim levels have to offer.

The base trim level that starts everything off is SE. This trim focuses on giving you standard features like a USB port, air conditioning, a 6-speaker sound system, a rearview camera, a 5-inch display, a 60/40-split folding rear seat, power mirrors, 15-inch steel wheels, height-adjustable front seats, front disc and rear drum brakes, and Bluetooth. When you choose the optional transmission you can even get a selectable Sport driving mode and cruise control.

Moving up the lineup is SEL. This trim builds on what the SE trim started, and adds a drowsy driver alert system, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment display, 16-inch alloy wheels, lane keeping assist, rear disc brakes, automatic headlights, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, heated side mirrors, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and satellite radio.

Value Edition:

When you hit the middle of the segment, you’ll meet the Value Edition trim. This option gets you Hyundai’s Blue Link Connected Car system, a sunroof, sun visors extensions, LED daytime running lights, rear-seat cupholders, door-handle approach lights, a leather-wrapped shift knob and steering wheel, keyless entry with push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, hands-free trunk release, and heated front seats.

Another major trim level to consider is Limited. This trim includes an eight-speaker Infinity premium audio system, 17-inch alloy wheels, a wireless charging pad, LED headlights, dual USB ports, automatic high beams, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, leather upholstery, adjustable rear headrests, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a sliding armrest. You can also include the Limited Ultimate package, which adds Safe Exit Assist, a sunroof, pedestrian detection, an 8-inch touchscreen, adaptive cruise control, a navigation system, and driver-seat memory settings.

This trim level focuses mainly on its fuel-efficient engine, but is generally like the Value Edition when it comes to available features. One of the biggest differences is that it works with 15-inch alloy wheels, and it also includes dual USB ports.

The final trim offered with the 2019 Elantra is Sport. This trim is equipped mostly the same way as the Limited trim, with a few unique additions. You’ll find chrome exterior accents, a sunroof, stronger brakes, a sophisticated rear suspension, 18-inch alloy wheels with grippier tires, and firmer tuning. This is alongside a turbocharged engine to add some extra oomph.
