The 2019 Hyundai Sonata remains the similar and welcoming vehicle that you have come to know and love. This sedan works hard to give you a solid list of standard features, an amazing user interface, generous trunk space, and a spacious interior. One of the biggest perks of the 2019 Sonata is the fact that you can choose between six unique and noteworthy trim levels. Each trim gives you the perfect opportunity to better pick the Sonata that fits your needs and personality. No matter which trim you end up loving most, every Sonata is worthy of being driven home. Keep reading down below to learn everything you need to know about the 2019 Hyundai Sonata trim lineup!
The entry-level trim for the Sonata is SE. This trim is sure to impress with things like a 7-inch touchscreen display, automatic headlights, rear cross-traffic alert, Bluetooth, a rearview camera, cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, a six-speaker sound system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 60/40-split folding rear seat, USB/auxiliary jacks, and power-folding mirrors.
The same features can be found with the Eco trim. The biggest difference between the two is the engine that is underneath the hood. The Eco trim features a 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, which creates 195 pound-feet of torque and 178 horsepower. Paired with the engine is a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
When you move towards the mid-range options, you’ll find even more standard features. These features include LED daytime running lights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a rear USB port, 17-inch wheels, hands-free smart trunk access, heated front seats, HD and satellite radio, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, keyless entry and ignition, heated mirrors, and Hyundai’s subscription-based Blue Link communications system. Through the optional Tech package, you can also find lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking.
Following the SEL trim is Sport! This option bumps things up a notch with a flat-bottom steering wheel with paddle shifters, Sport-specific interior trim, leather sport seats with cloth inserts, a sunroof, and unique styling in both the front and rear. The previously mentioned Tech package is also available to choose from with this trim!
All of the features you could ever need in a sedan can be found with the Limited trim. You’ll find front-seat ventilation, LED headlights, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power passenger seat, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, driver-seat memory settings, and full leather seats. You also get automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane keeping assist! Through the available Ultimate package, you can make sure you get rear parking sensors, rear window sunshades, and a panoramic sunroof.
The last trim up for grabs with the Sonata is the Limited 2.0T. This trim focuses on power with the addition of a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, which kicks out 260 pound-feet of torque and 245 horsepower. Paired with this engine, to make sure it gives you the efficiency you’re looking for, is an 8-speed automatic transmission.
